Rat S100 Calcium Binding Protein A6 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides a sandwich ELISA kit intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat S100 alpha 6/PRA, also referred to as S100 Calcium Binding Protein A6, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

According to the manufacturer, the assay covers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.062 ng/ml. The standard sandwich enzyme immunoassay format employs a biotinylated anti-S100 alpha 6/PRA detection antibody together with an HRP-avidin conjugate; TMB substrate yields a yellow product whose absorbance is proportional to the amount of target captured in each well. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Recovery data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.

Reactivity is rat, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
