Rat Rho Guanine Nucleotide Exchange Factor 7 ELISA Kit

Sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat ARHGEF7 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) immobilised with an antibody specific for ARHGEF7. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-ARHGEF7 Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction is stopped with an acidic solution and read colorimetrically at 450 nm on a microplate reader, with ARHGEF7 concentration calculated by reference to a standard curve.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity below 0.064 ng/ml, an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery values are 80–102% (average 91%, n=5) in serum, 81–101% (average 91%, n=5) in EDTA plasma and 80–89% (average 84%, n=5) in heparin plasma, with linearity assessed across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. The kit is intended for use with rat samples.
