Rat Renalase ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Renalase in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and is reactive with rat samples. Detection employs a biotinylated anti-Renalase antibody with HRP-avidin, visualised with TMB substrate solution and read at 450 nm.

The kit has a sensitivity of 2.45 ng/ml and a working range of 6.25-400 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery has been validated in rat serum and plasma matrices. Average recovery values reported are 91% for serum (range 80-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%), with n=5 per matrix. Linearity was assessed at sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Kit contents include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
