Rat Receptor Activator Of Nuclear Factor Kappa B Ligand ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Receptor Activator Of Nuclear Factor Kappa B Ligand (RANKL) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay uses pre-coated antibody on a microplate format, with detection at 450 nm via a colorimetric microplate reader. Standards and samples are incubated with Biotinylated Anti-RANKL Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction as a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to RANKL concentration. The standard curve covers 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 5.3 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Typical neat-sample recovery has been demonstrated at 87–100% (average 93%) in serum, 89–99% (average 94%) in EDTA plasma and 90–98% (average 94%) in heparin plasma. Reagents include lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, wash buffer concentrate, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate and stop solution, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
