Rat Ras Related C3 Botulinum Toxin Substrate 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Rac1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-Rac1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with a TMB substrate solution that yields a blue product, changing to yellow upon addition of an acidic stop solution, and is read by measuring optical density at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a stated sensitivity of <0.069 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is intended for research use only; it is not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
