Rat Proteinase 3 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Rat Proteinase 3 ELISA Kit is a quantitative sandwich ELISA (sELISA) for the in vitro determination of rat PR3 (Proteinase 3) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. A PR3-specific antibody is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate; standards and samples are added and bound PR3 is detected using a biotinylated anti-PR3 antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. After addition of the stop solution the colour intensity is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the PR3 concentration is interpolated from a standard curve. The assay has a sensitivity of <14.8 pg/ml, a measuring range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

The kit is supplied with a pre-coated 96-well microplate, a lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Recovery has been evaluated in rat serum (80–102%), EDTA plasma (81–100%) and heparin plasma (80–89%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 has been assessed in the same sample types. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed and must not be used past the expiration date.
