Rat Protein Phosphatase 2A Activator, Regulatory Subunit 4 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Protein Phosphatase 2A Activator, Regulatory Subunit 4 (PPP2R4) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips and is read colourimetrically at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.057 ng/ml across an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Captured PPP2R4 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-PPP2R4 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution to produce a yellow colour whose intensity is proportional to PPP2R4 concentration in each well.

The kit is suitable for tissue homogenates as well as serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Reported average recovery values from n=5 samples are 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 91% for EDTA plasma (range 81–101%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 ranges from 74% to 108% across these matrices. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
