Rat Protein Kinase C Delta ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Protein Kinase C Delta (PKC delta) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for PKC delta pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Detection is colourimetric, carried out using a Biotinylated Anti-PKC delta Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Performance characteristics include an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of less than 0.053 ng/ml. Reported average recovery in neat samples is 91% for serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity is also reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.
