Rat Protein C Receptor, Endothelial ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat EPCR/CD201 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and uses a biotinylated detection antibody followed by HRP-avidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve spans 1.56–100 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of 0.64 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Provided components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Spike-and-recovery averages were 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Linearity-of-dilution recovery across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions ranged 74–107% for serum, 79–108% for EDTA plasma and 82–105% for heparin plasma (n=5 each).
