Rat Protease, Serine 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Trypsin 1 (target listed as Protease, Serine 1) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips; analyte is detected with a biotinylated anti-Trypsin 1 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate using TMB substrate, and the resulting colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Sensitivity is stated as <0.245 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.625-40 ng/ml. The full assay runs in 4h 30m, with components stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Reported recovery is 80-102% (average 91%, n=5) in serum, 81-100% (average 90%, n=5) in EDTA plasma, and 80-89% (average 84%, n=5) in heparin plasma.
