Rat Proprotein Convertase Subtilisin/Kexin Type 9 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Proprotein Convertase Subtilisin/Kexin Type 9 (PCSK9) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay is built around a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) using a biotinylated anti-PCSK9 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with colour development by TMB substrate and absorbance read at 450 nm.

Detection is colourimetric, with an assay range of 3.12–200 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <1.25 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Validated recovery in serum (n=5) averaged 91% (range 80–102%), in EDTA plasma 90% (range 81–100%), and in heparin plasma 84% (range 80–89%).
