Rat Prolyl-4-Hydroxylase Alpha Polypeptide I ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of rat P4HA1 (Prolyl-4-Hydroxylase Alpha Polypeptide I) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and detection based on a biotinylated anti-P4HA1 antibody, HRP-avidin and TMB substrate.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <0.072 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Average recovery (n=5) ranged from 80–102% in serum, 81–100% in EDTA plasma, and 80–89% in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in the same matrices.
