Rat Prokineticin Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Prokineticin Receptor 1 (PK-R1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using a PK-R1-specific antibody pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, followed by a biotinylated anti-PK-R1 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose absorbance at 450 nm is proportional to PK-R1 concentration. The assay has a standard range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.039 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes, and is intended for use with a colorimetric microplate reader.

Spike-and-recovery has been validated in five replicates across serum (80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity has been assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions (n=5 per sample type), with recovery ranges of 74–107% in serum, 79–108% in EDTA plasma and 82–105% in heparin plasma.
