The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-Procollagen II C-Terminal Propeptide antibody, and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.
