Rat Pregnane X Receptor ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat PXR (Pregnane X Receptor) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate and the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, in which standards and samples are captured by an immobilised PXR-specific antibody, detected with a biotinylated anti-PXR antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and visualised using TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance figures include an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.113 ng/ml. Average sample recoveries were 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma. The total assay time is 4h 30m.
