Rat Platelet/Endothelial Cell Adhesion Molecule ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the quantitative measurement of rat CD31 (Platelet/Endothelial Cell Adhesion Molecule) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate with a biotinylated anti-CD31 detection antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported sensitivity is <9.5 pg/ml with an assay range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml. Typical sample recovery values are: serum 80–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81–101% (average 91%) and heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%). Recommended sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 are validated for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with corresponding recovery ranges provided in the product documentation.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96 well microplate arranged as 12 × 8 well strips, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X concentrate), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed in the protocol.
