Rat Platelet Derived Growth Factor Receptor Alpha ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat PDGFR alpha in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-PDGFR alpha detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The colorimetric end-point is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Stated performance values include a sensitivity of 0.054 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated. Average recovery across n=5 samples is reported as 91% for serum (range 80%–102%), 91% for EDTA plasma (range 81%–101%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%–89%).

Linearity has been evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 per matrix). The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
