Rat Plasminogen ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Plasminogen in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with antibody specific for Plasminogen; standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Plasminogen Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a yellow product read at 450 nm whose intensity is proportional to the amount of Plasminogen captured. Reported sensitivity is <27 ng/ml and the product range is 78.1–5000 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m and detection is colourimetric on a standard microplate reader.

Sample performance data are reported (n=5) for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Recovery ranges: serum 87–101% (average 94%); EDTA plasma 90–101% (average 95%); heparin plasma 91–102% (average 96%). Linearity at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16: serum 90–101%, 79–108%, 84–95%, 92–105%; EDTA plasma 82–105%, 89–91%, 87–109%, 74–104%; heparin plasma 90–94%, 86–108%, 86–101%, 90–101%.

Kit components include a Pre-Coated 96 Well Microplate (12 x 8 well strips), Lyophilized Standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and Plate Sealers.
