Rat Plasminogen Activator, Urokinase ELISA Kit

An in vitro quantitative sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for measuring rat uPA (Plasminogen Activator, Urokinase) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an immobilised antibody specific for uPA. Biotinylated Anti-uPA Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate are used for detection, with TMB substrate producing a coloured product measured at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The Product Range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a Sensitivity of <5.7 pg/ml. Total Assay Time is 4h 30m and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C.

Spike-and-recovery performance was reported as follows: serum (n=5) 80%-102% with average 91%, EDTA plasma (n=5) 81%-100% with average 90%, and heparin plasma (n=5) 80%-89% with average 84%.
