Rat Plasminogen Activator, Tissue ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Tissue Plasminogen Activator in plasma. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate to capture the target, with detection via a biotinylated anti-Tissue Plasminogen Activator antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate. The colour reaction is quantified by absorbance at 450 nm on a microplate reader, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of <0.124 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Validation data cover recovery in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%, n=5), along with dilution linearity tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for each sample type. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as indicated, and the product should not be used past its stated expiration date.
