Rat Phospholipid Transfer Protein ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat PLTP (Phospholipid Transfer Protein) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids, for research use only. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, using a biotinylated anti-PLTP detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Validated for rat samples including EDTA and heparin plasma, the kit reports a sensitivity of <5.5 ng/ml and an assay range of 12.5–800 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C. Reported sample recovery values are 80–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma, alongside linearity data across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
