Rat Phospholipase A2, Group IIA ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Phospholipase A2, Group IIA in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate with a biotinylated anti-Phospholipase A2 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with analyte concentration calculated against a standard curve.

Performance specifications include an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.116 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Spike-and-recovery data (n=5) are reported for serum at 83–100% (average 91%), EDTA plasma at 90–98% (average 94%), and heparin plasma at 90–99% (average 94%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (n=5) are reported as: serum 90–99%, 82–108%, 82–96% and 92–103%; EDTA plasma 84–105%, 88–94%, 89–107% and 72–106%; heparin plasma 89–92%, 88–108%, 84–102% and 90–98%.
