Rat Phosphofructokinase, Liver ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat PFKL (Phosphofructokinase, Liver) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using a pre-coated 96-well microplate with an antibody specific for PFKL, followed by detection with a biotinylated anti-PFKL antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate produces a colour change that is proportional to PFKL concentration and is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The assay has a working range of 1.56-100 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.58 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery data indicate average values of 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma, and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5), with sample dilution ranges tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across these matrices.
