Rat Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor Gamma ELISA Kit

Distributed by Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor Gamma (PPAR gamma). The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and employs a pre-coated microplate with colorimetric detection measured at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the assay has a measurable range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.058 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation studies report recovery ranges of 80%–102% (mean 91%, n=5) in serum, 81%–100% (mean 90%, n=5) in EDTA plasma and 80%–89% (mean 84%, n=5) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same sample matrices.
