Rat Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor Alpha ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor Alpha (PPAR alpha) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, serum, plasma, and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a biotinylated anti-PPAR alpha detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate on a pre-coated 96-well microplate, with signal read at 450 nm. Reported sensitivity is 0.057 ng/ml, the working range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, and total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Spike-and-recovery data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with average recoveries of 91%, 90%, and 84% respectively. Linearity is demonstrated across dilution series from 1:2 to 1:16 for each sample type. The product is for research use only.
