Rat Peripheral Myelin Protein 22 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the quantitative determination of rat peripheral myelin protein 22 (PMP22) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, with detection performed colorimetrically by reading the absorbance at 450nm. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported sensitivity is <0.055 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. Validation data shows recovery in serum (n=5) of 83–100% (average 91%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) of 90–103% (average 96%) and in heparin plasma (n=5) of 90–99% (average 94%). Dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions, with serum showing 90–99%, 82–108%, 82–96% and 92–103% respectively; EDTA plasma 84–105%, 88–94%, 89–107% and 72–106%; and heparin plasma 89–92%, 88–108%, 84–102% and 90–98%.
