Rat Pepsinogen A ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Pepsinogen A (Pepsinogen I) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with a biotinylated anti-Pepsinogen I detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate and the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance is characterised by a sensitivity of <15.5 pg/ml and an assay range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml, with a complete assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery has been validated in serum (80-102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81-100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (80-89%, average 84%, n=5), and linear dilution behaviour has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across all three sample types.

Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
