Rat PDGFA ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative in vitro determination of rat PDGF AA in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format and is read colorimetrically at 450 nm. A biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate are used in a sandwich format, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to PDGF AA concentration.

The assay has a reported product range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of <9.375 pg/mL. It is specific for PDGF AA with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing; validated dilutions include healthy serum at 1:50 and healthy plasma at 1:50.

Average recovery values across sample types (n=10) are: Serum 95%, EDTA Plasma 97%, Heparin Plasma 99%. The kit is shipped at +4°C; components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The assay is completed in approximately 4 hours.
