Rat Parathyroid Hormone Related Protein ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) provides in vitro quantitative determination of rat Parathyroid Hormone Related Protein (PTHLH) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-PTHLH detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with a colourmetric TMB substrate read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

The assay range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 4.54 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reagents are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. The rat-specific format is one of seven PTHLH ELISA kits in the portfolio for quantitative detection of PTHLH in human, mouse, rat and bovine samples, with the target also known by the synonyms parathyroid hormone-like protein, PLP, PTH-rP and PTHrP.
