Rat Parathyroid Hormone ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Parathyroid Hormone in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips) pre-coated with Parathyroid Hormone antigen, with detection via a biotinylated anti-Parathyroid Hormone antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate read at 450 nm. The product working range is 3.12–200 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 1.27 pg/ml, and total assay time is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the assay is performed on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). The kit is suited to serum, plasma, cell lysates, tissue homogenates and cell culture supernates.
