Rat Paired Box Gene 6 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative measurement of rat PAX6 (Paired Box Gene 6) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate on which an antibody specific for PAX6 has been immobilised. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, followed sequentially by a Biotinylated Anti-PAX6 Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and the concentration of PAX6 is determined by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450nm on a colorimetric microplate reader against a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is <0.057 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is intended for research use only.
