Rat p53 Upregulated Modulator Of Apoptosis ELISA Kit

Sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat p53 Upregulated Modulator of Apoptosis (PUMA) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The kit employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with PUMA captured by an immobilised antibody and detected using a biotinylated anti-PUMA antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Colour development is read at 450 nm and the assay is completed in 4 hours 30 minutes.

Quantification is supported by a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.047 ng/ml. Validated recovery in serum (n=5) averages 91% (range 80–102%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) averages 90% (range 81–100%), and in heparin plasma (n=5) averages 84% (range 80–89%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.
