Rat Oprm1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Mu Opioid Receptor (OPRM1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate and uses a biotinylated detection antibody with HRP-Streptavidin and TMB substrate to produce a colorimetric signal read at 450 nm, with the intensity directly proportional to the concentration of target captured in each well.

The kit is specific for Mu Opioid Receptor with no reported cross-reactivity against other analogs or variants. It covers a quantitative range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL, and the protocol can be completed in approximately 4 hours. Detection is colorimetric on a microplate reader.

Recovery performance is documented across serum and plasma matrices: in undiluted samples, average recovery was 95% in serum (range 93%-100%), 94% in EDTA plasma (range 87%-100%), and 92% in heparin plasma (range 88%-98%). Validated sample dilutions include healthy serum at 1:10-1:20 and rat brain tissue homogenate at 1:2. The kit is shipped at +4°C, with components stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol manual.
