Rat Occludin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of Occludin in samples of rat origin. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and is suitable for tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. Detection is colourmetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader following TMB substrate conversion.

The manufacturer reports an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.112 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported spike-and-recovery values are 80–102% for serum (n=5), 81–100% for EDTA plasma (n=5) and 80–89% for heparin plasma (n=5). Linearity has been assessed across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for the same three sample types.
