Rat Nucleobindin 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat NUCB1 (Nucleobindin 1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for NUCB1; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-NUCB1 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate used to visualize the enzymatic reaction. The resulting absorbance at 450 nm is proportional to the NUCB1 concentration captured in each well.

Reported sensitivity is <0.063 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery values are: serum 80% - 102% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma 81% - 100% (average 90%, n=5), and heparin plasma 80% - 89% (average 84%, n=5). Linearity upon dilution (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) is given as 87-91% / 87-107% / 74-101% / 92-97% for serum (n=5), 90-105% / 84-101% / 90-101% / 79-108% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 84-95% / 92-105% / 82-105% / 89-91% for heparin plasma (n=5).
