Rat Nuclear Factor Kappa B ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat NF-κB p105/p50 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for NF-κB p105/p50. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where the target is captured by the immobilised antibody, followed by a biotinylated anti-NF-κB p105/p50 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow after addition of stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The quantitative assay covers a range of 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.119 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Reported recoveries average 93% in serum (range 87–100%), 94% in EDTA plasma (range 89–99%), and 94% in heparin plasma (range 90–98%), across n=5 samples for each matrix.

Detection is colourimetric and components should be stored at +4 °C or −20 °C according to the instructions provided. The kit is suitable for cell lysates and tissue homogenates.
