Rat Nuclear Factor, Erythroid Derived 2 Like Protein 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is intended for in vitro quantitative determination of rat Nuclear Factor, Erythroid Derived 2 Like Protein 2 (Nrf2) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids.

An antibody specific for Nrf2 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added and Nrf2 binds to the immobilised antibody. Following incubation and washing, wells are incubated with Biotinylated Anti-Nrf2 Antibody, then HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added and catalyses a reaction producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and Nrf2 concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported performance: sensitivity <0.047 ng/ml, assay range 0.156–10 ng/ml. Mean recovery (n=5) was 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 91% in EDTA plasma (range 81–101%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, with reported values ranging from 74% to 108% across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples.
