Rat Nts ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, the Rat Neurotensin (Nts) ELISA Kit is a competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Neurotensin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The 2-hour assay is performed on a pre-coated microplate and uses an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate with TMB substrate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance characteristics include a working range of 1.563–100 pg/mL and a sensitivity of <0.938 pg/mL. The antibody is described as specific for Neurotensin with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. Spike-and-recovery testing gave average values of 97% in serum (range 88–102%), 98% in EDTA plasma (range 87–102%) and 98% in heparin plasma (range 92–104%), with sample dilution linearity data also provided in the product literature.

The kit is shipped at +4 °C and components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed in the protocol manual. The manufacturer advises avoiding freeze/thaw cycles and not using the kit past its expiration date.
