Rat NRG-2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat NRG2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an immobilized anti-NRG2 antibody; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-NRG2 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The format is a quantitative sandwich immunoassay with reactivity against rat samples.

Stated sensitivity is <0.062 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml. The full protocol takes 4h 30m. Reported mean recovery is 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5 per matrix), with individual sample recoveries spanning 74–108% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilution series.

The kit includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as indicated, and the manufacturer advises against use past the stated expiration date.
