Rat Noggin ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay kit from Antibodies.com enables in vitro quantitative determination of rat Noggin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for Noggin is pre-coated onto the microplate; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-Noggin detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is converted to a yellow product read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.044 ng/ml across an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery averaged 84–91% (n=5) across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, while serial dilution linearity (1:2–1:16) gave recoveries of 74–108% across the same sample types. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
