Rat Nitric Oxide Synthase 2, Inducible ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) in rat serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate formed of 12 x 8 well strips and is completed in 4 hours 30 minutes. Detection is colourimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The product range is 1.56-100 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.59 ng/ml. Validated average recovery is 91% in serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Linearity was assessed across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each sample matrix.
