Rat NFKB Activating Protein ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Rat NKAP (NFKB Activating Protein) ELISA Kit is a sandwich (quantitative) enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat NKAP in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. It is supplied as a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and is used with a colorimetric microplate reader, with absorbance measured at 450 nm.

The assay employs a biotinylated anti-NKAP detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with signal generated using TMB substrate and visualised after addition of stop solution. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. The manufacturer reports an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.061 ng/ml. Validation data show average recovery (n=5) of 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Linearity was demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions, with reported recoveries spanning 74–107% for serum, 79–108% for EDTA plasma and 82–105% for heparin plasma.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C according to the manufacturer's instructions.
