Rat Neutral Sphingomyelinase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Rat Neutral Sphingomyelinase (nSMase) ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat nSMase in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate format with a biotinylated anti-nSMase detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Following incubation with TMB substrate, the colour change is read at 450nm in a microplate reader, with the nSMase concentration calculated against a standard curve. Reported sensitivity is <0.068 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.
