Rat Neuropilin 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables quantitative in vitro determination of rat Neuropilin 1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay employs an antibody pre-coated microplate, with Neuropilin 1 in standards and samples captured by the immobilised antibody and detected using a biotinylated anti-Neuropilin 1 antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised using TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, and Neuropilin 1 concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The standard curve covers a quantitative range of 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.063 ng/ml, and the complete assay requires approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.
