Rat Neuropathy Target Esterase ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Neuropathy Target Esterase in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format with a biotinylated anti-Neuropathy Target Esterase detection antibody. Following sample incubation and washing, an HRP–avidin conjugate is added and the enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a yellow product after addition of acidic stop solution.

Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the Neuropathy Target Esterase concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve. The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.057 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Recovery has been evaluated in serum (n=5, range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–100%, average 90%), and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%, average 84%).
