Rat Neuron Derived Orphan Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat NOR1/TEC (Neuron Derived Orphan Receptor 1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate, a biotinylated anti-NOR1/TEC detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with the reaction read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Sensitivity is <0.122 ng/ml with a quantitative range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Recovery was evaluated across sample matrices. Serum (n=5) ranged 80%-102% with a 91% average; EDTA plasma (n=5) ranged 81%-100% with a 90% average; heparin plasma (n=5) ranged 80%-89% with an 84% average. Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. In serum (n=5) recoveries were 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97%; in EDTA plasma (n=5) 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108%; in heparin plasma (n=5) 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91%. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
