Rat Neurochondrin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Norbin (Neurochondrin) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay is performed on a pre-coated microplate using a biotinylated anti-Norbin detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate used to generate a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and quantified against a standard curve.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.055 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. In spiked recovery testing, average recoveries were 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma, and 84% in heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
