Rat Neuritin 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Neuritin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Neuritin. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Neuritin Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of the stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative range is 0.156-10 ng/ml and sensitivity is 0.065 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Recovery values (n=5) are reported for serum (80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80%-89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity data at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 are provided for serum (87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%), EDTA plasma (90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%) and heparin plasma (84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%). Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
