Rat Netrin 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Netrin 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay has a working range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <6.0 pg/ml and is read colorimetrically at 450 nm on a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. The complete protocol runs in approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes.

The principle uses a Netrin 1-specific antibody pre-coated onto the plate. Standards and samples are added, and after washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Netrin 1 Antibody is applied, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is proportional to the Netrin 1 concentration. Average recovery is 94% (range 88-101%) in serum, 97% (91-103%) in EDTA plasma, and 95% (92-98%) in heparin plasma (n=5 each). Dilution linearity has been demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
