Rat Neprilysin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative in vitro determination of rat Neprilysin (also referred to as CD10) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The plate is supplied pre-coated with an antibody specific for the target.

Quantitative readout is achieved using a biotinylated anti-target detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate; TMB substrate develops a colourmetric signal read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The assay range is 31.2–2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 13.3 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Recovery has been validated in serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81%–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80%–89%, average 84%), and dilution linearity has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in the same three matrices. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
